During the Gornergletscher project of VAW / ETHZ we installed sensors for water pressure, ice temperature and ice deformation in boreholes on the lower glacier.

During my Phd thesis I performed a lot of field work on Colle Gnifetti, the highest accumulation basin of the Gorner/Grenzgletscher system of glaciers.
