You can explore the election data interactively
by choosing the variable you want to map from the pop-up list above (Wins00 is
already selected). For variables that contain absolute values (e.g., total population)
you can make a cartogram. Select your variable of choice, then select menu Geometry-->
Area Cartogram...
You can add a second data layer to your cartogram by chosing another (relative)
variable from the list and changing the symbolization of the shaded polygons accordingly.
